About This Event
Join the Tai Chi Globe community to celebrate World Tai Chi & Qigong!
This free event is open to Tai Chi Globe members, friends and family and will take place at the Wades Centre in Princes Risborough, United Kingdom.
WIth a choice of two time-slots, each one will be 60 minutes long with a short break half-way through. We shall be performing basic Tai Chi and Qigong movements, suitable for all levels of ability.

- Although this is a free event, each attendee must register by selecting either the 8:45 or 10:00 session on this page.
About World Tai Chi Globe
World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is an annual event on the last Saturday of April to promote the related martial arts disciplines of Tai Chi and Qigong worldwide. This year, it takes place on 27 April 2024. Starting in 1999, the movement saw people in up to 80 countries participate in Tai Chi and Qigong activities to help foster a greater understanding of art forms and their physical and mental-health benefits.

Can anyone register?
If you can attend the event in-person and fit enough to participate in slow, gentle movements for up to 60 minutes, absolutely!
Please ensure each person wishing to attend registers with their own details separately, to help us manage numbers and keep everyone informed.
What should be worn at the event?
Wear lose comfortable clothing. Wear flat, trainer like shoes.
Will the event be recorded?
The event will be recorded on video, showing the instructor(s) performing the movements. The recording is available for Tai Chi Globe members only with 72 hours of the event.
What happens if it rains?
For this 2024 event, it will be indoors, whatever the weather.

We are a couple. Do we both need to register?
Yes please. This will enable us to assess the exact number of people we should expect to see at the event.
Location
The Wades Centre is close to St Mary's Church, Princes Risborough, and opposite The Mount car park, which is recommended for parking.
