    Loose, comfortable clothing and flat trainers. Bare feet are not recommended.

    After your free taster, you’ll be invited to join as a member.

🌀 What are the Membership Prices? 💷

Join us for a complimentary introductory class when you sign up for our weekly sessions. After that you are warmly invited to become a member of the Tai Chi Globe community.

🌀 I have health concerns. Are Tai Chi & Qigong safe to do? 👨🏻‍⚕️🩺

Tai Chi and Qigong are low-impact, gentle yet powerful internal arts. They can be performed standing or seated. Research shows they offer a wide range of physical and mental health benefits and may improve quality of life for those with medical conditions.

🌀 What should I wear to class? 👕👟

Loose, comfortable clothing and flat trainers. Bare feet are not recommended 🚫👣

🌀 Is experience required? 🌱

No. Tai Chi and Qigong are adaptable for all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of experience 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

🌀 Do you offer private tuition? 🏠

Currently unavailable due to full classes. If this changes, we’ll update this page and notify the mailing list. For small-group or organisational bookings, see Group sessions below.

🌀 Community & Volunteers 👥

To get involved, you must be a Tai Chi Globe member. This ensures a shared understanding and commitment to Tai Chi and Qigong 🤝.

🌀 What are the payment methods? 💳

Debit/credit card and PayPal are the default methods. Cash or cheque may be accepted at the instructor’s discretion but are generally discouraged due to administration costs 💰.

🌀 Do you teach children? 👶

Currently, classes are for adults aged 18 and over. This may change in the future 📆.

🌀 Group sessions for charities & businesses? 🏢

Yes. Group sessions for up to 17 people are available from £50 per hour. Larger numbers can be accommodated and may require more than one instructor. Please use “Need help?” to provide your requirements 🤝👥.

🌀 Are there workshops available? 🛠️

Workshops will be available from late 2025 onwards. Details will be announced on this website and in our newsletter 🗓️.

🌀 What styles of Tai Chi & Qigong do you teach? 🌟

Our curriculum is continually reviewed and expanding 📚.

🌀 Where can I park when attending classes? 🅿️

Most venues have on-site parking (e.g., Aylesbury Multicultural Community Centre and Rivets Sports & Social Club). For venue-specific directions and parking details, please see each class page on the Enrol page.

🌀 How do I join? 🤔

When you register, you receive a free taster class. After that, you’ll be invited to join the Tai Chi Globe membership.

🌀 I’m having trouble registering or using the site on my iPhone 📱

Some iPhone users occasionally run into issues if cookies are blocked or restricted.

  • Go to Settings > Safari
  • Ensure Block All Cookies is off
  • Refresh the page and try again (or try another browser)

🌀 Are there classes specifically for people with Parkinson’s?

Currently, there are no dedicated classes, but several members with Parkinson’s attend our regular sessions. Thanks to the adaptable nature of Tai Chi and Qigong, our classes suit a wide range of conditions. If there’s enough interest, we may introduce Parkinson’s-specific sessions.
